Create a custom data map with Lumino.
This ability is only available for Customer Designer, this area is read only for Customer User
There might be instances where you need Lumino to move data differently than how the default integration has been set up.
To address this, a Custom Data Map can be created.
The steps to do this vary based on the level of customization you need:- Step 1: Create Custom Fields for a Custom Data Map
(This step is necessary if your system/s have custom fields that are not included by default)
If you do not have additional custom fields you can skip Step 1.
- Step 2: Create the map using the default schemas
(This enables you to customize the mapping of fields between systems or to include any additional custom fields)- In step 2, fields can be mapped as desired, overwriting anything mapped by default.
- The integration must first be created for the target company with custom fields. Adding Integration to a Customer in Lumino.
Now that we have the necessary prerequisites created we can create the Custom Data Map
- Navigate to https://lumino.ariox.com/ and click Settings followed by Custom Data Map
- Click the Add New Custom Data Map button to add a new map.
- Choose the Name and a Description for the new map. Partner level Customer Designers have the ability to select from their customers under Company (Child Companies).
- Choose the Integration that you want to make the new map for from the drop-down list (as mentioned above, the Integration must already exist for the target company.
- Choose the Data Set that you want to make the new map for from the drop-down list.
- Choose which side of the integration you want to modify.
- Choose from the source (base or custom) schema/s you have created.
- Choose from the destination (base or custom) schema/s you have created and click Save Custom Data Map to save. If the custom map is not yet ready or you want to make it inactive for any reason and utilize the base map, you can toggle the Active switch off until you are ready to use it.
- From here your custom map is ready to populate with connections between the systems which you can access via the ellipses menu next to your Custom Map (See: How do I edit, modify, copy the ID of, or delete a custom data map in Lumino? for further instructions if needed).
