Create a custom field in Lumino.
This ability is only available for Customer Designer, this area is read only for Customer User
There might be cases where a system can have custom fields or user defined fields, if we want to map them in an integration we need to create a custom field definition.
In order to do that, first of all we need to have the integration created for the company with the custom fields How to add an integration to a company.
Having the integration configured, we can now create the custom field definition.
To access the page Custom Fields:
-
Navigate to https://lumino.ariox.com/ and click on Settings.
- Select Custom Fields from the dropdown menu.
- Click Add new Custom Field.
-
Enter a name for your custom Field, create a short description to help you differentiate between similar fields, and select the desired Company (Non Partner/ISV customers will only have their company available), Integration, Data Set, and Schema Base from the dropdown lists.
- After creating the custom field definition it will be added to the data grid, in order to modify the schema we need to press on the ellipses and click on Schema.
- In the page that will be opened we will see the predefined field for the system that we chose.
Use caution when modifying properties as it has the ability to break the integration, as a rule of thumb, properties may be added but never removed (this could be false in special cases). When finished with your customizations, click save to save the changes and return to the previous screen. - You will see the following notification in the lower right corner of your screen informing you that the change was successful.
